ENGINEERING
The right time to move from monolith to modular
Early microservices, late modularity: both have a price.
PRODUCT STUDIO — ISTANBUL
Nuckflare is a small software product studio based in Istanbul. We build our own products across web, mobile and AI.

WHAT WE DO
02
We build all of our products end-to-end with our own team, from design to infrastructure. Most of our time goes into these six areas.
01
Fast-loading, search-friendly interfaces built with Next.js and React that don't slow down as they grow.
02
Native performance for iOS and Android from a single codebase — we run the store process ourselves too.
03
Services that hold up under load, clear API contracts, real-time data flow and reporting.
04
We embed LLMs, RAG and automation inside our products. Not demos — features that work in daily use.
05
AWS infrastructure, automated deploy pipelines, monitoring and alerting, and cloud costs kept in check.
06
One interface language across products: a code-ready component library and consistent motion rules.
ABOUT
03
Nuckflare started in 2019, when we realised the tools we were writing for ourselves were useful to other people too. Since then we've worked as a small, senior core team; we carry few products at a time and can account for every architectural decision in the ones we do carry.
Design, engineering and AI aren't separate departments here — they're parts of the same table. Every system we ship is built to stand two years later, not just on release day, and we don't abandon a product halfway.
TECHNOLOGIES WE USE
OUR APPROACH
04
Every stage ends with something tangible, and we only move on if that thing actually works.
We get clear on the problem we want to solve and whose pain it removes. If the answer isn't clear, no code gets written.
1 WEEK
We shape the flows and interface language into a clickable prototype. The idea gets tested on screen before any big presentation.
1–2 WEEKS
Working software in a weekly rhythm. At the end of every week there's a real, usable build.
2–6 WEEKS
Automated tests plus performance and accessibility audits. Every critical flow is verified before release.
1 WEEK
We go live with infrastructure, monitoring and the deploy pipeline in place. Ready for day-one traffic.
1 DAY
Metric tracking, iteration and the new-feature loop. The product is live; the real work starts now.
